Imitation of a pistol, made of metal and plastic, equipped with a simulated loading and firing mechanism, and a fixed magazine.
Designed by Carl Walther GmbH, the Walther P38 emerged in 1938 as a replacement for the legendary Parabellum Luger P08, offering a more modern, affordable, and functional option for the German army. With a robust and reliable design, it became the standard sidearm of the Wehrmacht during World War II.
One of its greatest innovations was the double-action trigger mechanism, allowing the first shot to be fired without cocking the hammer, enhancing speed and safety in combat. Its locking system with a tilting block and modular structure made it easy to disassemble and maintain, even under extreme conditions. Over 1.2 million units were produced between 1939 and 1945, making it an icon of German firearms engineering.
The Walther P38 has left a lasting mark on cinema: in Dirty Harry (1971), it is wielded by the villain "Scorpio"; in The Manchurian Candidate (1962), it appears in the hands of Frank Sinatra and Laurence Harvey; and in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), it is proudly displayed by the character Alex O’Connell.
It has also made an impact in animation and anime: in Transformers, the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron, transforms into a Walther P38 with a folding stock and telescopic sight; and in Lupin III, both the protagonist and the plot of the special Walther P38 (1997) revolve around this iconic weapon.
The digital legacy of the P38 is equally remarkable: it has been featured in titles like Call of Duty: World at War, Medal of Honor, and Battlefield V, where it appears alongside other classic weapons such as the hand grenade, the Sten II, the MP41, or the PPSH 41, faithfully recreating the arsenal of World War II.
A collector's piece with history, design, and German character — essential for any enthusiast of military history, classic firearms, or authentic weapon imitations.

It feels very great! It looks, feels, and almost sounds real! One issue is the way the named it, this 'Automatic Pistol' is the Walther P38! Otherwise, great replica, would buy more!
This is my all time favorite looking pistol. The design and functionality of this pistol is superb.
